In July I'll go on a short 7day Vacation to Italy, Sardinia more precisely. And I can't live without internet. :D My question is: which is the best prepaid package with SIM for Mobile Internet. And of course has some decent coverage.
Thank you. Please respond in comments

you should pay attention to the coverage, with Tre(3) and Wind you got HDSPA just in few areas, i suggest to you to buy a Tim prepaid it has a good coverage and a strong signal and its the only one that give you a good speed in EDGE, vodafone its good too. if you need more help let me know by email,
dioz
thank you both, well all are ok with price 1 gb for 10 euros. Now the difference is made by coverage
TIM and VODAFONE have by far the best coverage
Whatever you choose be carefull that all data plans have a monthly amount of data you can transfer. Once you reach the max, they charge you the extra traffic ... a lot!
i dont think ill reach limit in 7 days :D
BAAD how is Italy? Italians love you
@Sassi in July i'll arrive :)
when there is no Tre italia coverage, signal go in roaming with TIM (and roaming is not included in 5€/month.) Tim is more expansive then Tre, like Vodafone, but signal is good, and speed is good too. You could also see Wind offers, normaly they have good prices, but now i dont' know it.
I live in Rome and TRE italia signal is good, but i don't know how is network coverage in Sardinia.
Sorry for my bad english, i hope this will help you.
Thanks for your work! :-)
wind have the lowest price but the coverage simply suxx.
Go for vodafone or tim
Well,
it's pretty sure Tim or Vodafone is the way to go.
3HG (TRE) and Wind are cheaper but coverage is abysmal in certain zones. For example, my 3HG has a full strenght signal in my house. As I move to a near town (about 3 KM) the signal totally drops and no connection is avaiable.
Tim and Vodafone have good coverage in tunnels and metros too.
I hope you will enjoy my country as much I enjoy your Android work. :)
